A walk-off single propelled Cougars to a decisive, dramatic victory over Mt. Pleasant, 7-6. The game was tied at six with the cougars batting in the bottom of the eighth when Ray Knallay singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
Blackhawk was boosted by Knallay who went 4-for-4 at the plate. Knallay singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fifth, and singled in the eighth.
